is the second server identical to the first, with the exception of
bigger disks??
=20
You would do a restore of it, the same as you would if you were doing a
disaster recovery of www.
=20
Restore everything to the new server, and reboot.....but make sure you
shutdown or disconnect the original server when the new one comes up, or
you'll get a IP conflict.
=20
might take a bit for ARP caches to refresh, etc, so that the new server
responds to the old name.....

Subject: [Veritas-bu] System Recovery

        I have Netbackup 5.1 MP1 on Windows 2000.

        =20

We have a server that has been having problems in our web
presence because of drive space. Lets say the name of this is www.

        =20

A new server has been made with the same hardware, but larger
disk drives. They have named this www2.

        =20

Both servers are running at the moment with different ip
addresses and different names.

        =20

They want me to do a restore of the www server to www2,
including system state. Can this be done? If so, in what order do I do
it?

        Thanks!

        =20
