Hi Rolf. I managed to make a short batch file that took the media ids
on the command line and stuffed them into the volume database with
vmadd.

Do you think we can manipulate the robot from the command line?
Something like load slot 1 then read media id then vmadd it.

Regards,

Jan

Hi there,

I've been struggeling with the same problem some time ago, but never
finished a script for it.

It's only possible when you mount every tape and then read the Media
ID's.

It's possible to do with scripting but takes some time to figure uit.

Regards,

Rolf
