I have a server running SunOS 5.8 with Veritas NetBackup 5.1MP3.
I plan to install Solaris 10.

Please verify this procedure:

The proper way to migrate NetBackup would be the following:

1) Pop out the old drives to use incase the steps below do not
work.
2) Insert new drives for Solaris 10.
3) Install Solaris10.
4) Configure the tape library (so Solaris recognizes it).
5) Install NetBackup 5.1.
6) Install the MP3 patch.
7) Configure the tape drives in Veritas on the new install.
8) Run bprecover with the catalog-tape ID.

Question - running bprecover, will this recover all of my policies that
I have setup or only the actual catalog of all the backups?

If bprecover only recovers the actual catalog, how does one transfer the
policies from NetBackup (older machine) to the newer one?
