Hi,
Do any of you use portable barcode readers to invertory your tapes?
We are planning to get one to inventory our LTO tapes that are stored
offsite or in fireproof safes. What would you recommend. I got a quote
for a $2,500 system (PSC Falcon 340/345), which i think is an
overkill. What I need is a simple portable barcode reader that can
scan the tape labels and then download a text file via USB to a PC.
Any suggestions? What do you guys use? We have some 500+ tapes to inventory
