I mix disk and tape on the same HBA on the same fabric and it hasn't
caused us any issues yet.  The NetBackup catalog and disk staging units
share the same HBAs to the SAN although the disk is available through
both HBAs and the tapes only through 1.

That said, I believe the *recommended* approach is to separate the disk
and tape traffic across different HBAs.
