Hello list,=20
Here my configuration:
SunFire 6800
ADIC Scalar 100 connected via SCSI, 50 slots, 2 SONYSDX-700C drives.
Netbackup 4.5 MP6 and FP6 installed.
Solaris 8
=20
We've got a new Dell PV132T LTO2 robot to be added, with 2 drives and 24
slots.
I've got the OS to recognize both new tape drives but I can't get the
system to recognize the robotic arm.
>From the output of the sgscan I see only the ADIC connected.
I ran the procedure to add a new robot from the doc.=20
=20
/usr/sbin/modinfo | grep sg

/usr/sbin/rem_drv sg

/usr/bin/rm -f /kernel/drv/sg.conf

/usr/openv/volmgr/bin/driver/sg.install

cd /usr/openv/volmgr/bin/driver

/usr/openv/volmgr/bin/sg.build all -mt 15 -ml 1

and added/replaced content on=20

/kernel/drv/st.conf

reboot -- -r

We connected the robot to windows 2k3 server and it works fine under
BackupExec, but I can't get it working under Solaris 8.

Any help will be very welcome!

Thanks!

Francisco
