Need more info.

Can you ping the client by name? by IP?

Can the client ping the server by name? by IP?

If not, then that's a good place to start...you likely do not have
network connectivity.

Does it start to backup, and run for a while? Then die with the status
41?
Is the client using NIC teaming?

Is the client multi-homed?
