Jeremy,
=20
I just finished writing a perl script (see my post "Email Reports:
Second Half") that tells me which tapes I need to pull from my 'bot
every morning. It's based on a lot of givens such that the Schedules for
each policy are named sililarly (e.g., "FULL") and that the rotation
period is generally the same, but so far it's been working pretty well
and cut 1/2 to 1 hour off the time it takes me to find which tapes to
pull (I was doing it through the NBU GUI!).

I have an STK L180 that holds over 100 tapes. A lot of our backups have
long retention periods and need to be moved out of the silo for long
term storage.=20
What are other people using to manage what comes and goes when?=20
