Dunno....maybe a long shot but have you tried
/F/snapshots/* ??
or I don't know if it makes a difference, but maybe
F:\snapshots\* ?? (Most of my policies are set up this way.)

        Hi Paul,
        =20
Yes the cross mount points option is selected; basically it is
set up as a standard Windows policy with the following options:
        =20
        Policy type: MS-Windows-NT
        Cross mount points: Yes
        Files: /F/snapshots
        =20
Everything else is pretty much standard.
=09
        =20
It returns a status code 0 but only backs up the directory
snapshots and none of the snapshot folders underneath it.
        =20
        Steve.

Have you double checked the "cross mount points" option is
turned on in the policy for those machines?

Hi, I have encountered an issue backing up snapshots
created on a Windows server by a third party application (I believe it
maybe called Double-Take) and was hoping someone would be able to advise
me as to how I should set up the policy to back up the necessary
snapshot Directory and files. According to the guys who are creating the
snapshots they are being presented as mount points in windows explorer,
and they have assured me that all snapshots are available via explorer
and that any normal read operation should be permitted on it. However
the backups just do not appear to be able to 'see' the snapshot files
that have been created.

I a using Netbackup Datacentre v4.5 MP6 and the client
in question is running Windows 2003.=20

Any help/suggestions on how to set this up will be
gratefully received.=20

                Thanks in advance,=20

                Steve.=20
