I found it. By placing a file named ALTPATH in the server named folder
in the images directory, you can relocate your files to another
location.

Thanks for the help.

Hi,

It's possible to move (change) where the catalogue resides. Take a look
at
the windows registry keys below :
"HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\VERITAS\NetBackup\CurrentVersion" and there
it
shall be listed as "Db Data".

If i don't remember wrongly it is also an article describing how to move
this directory on the http://support.veritas.com web site.

/Kim

I have a remote server running Win2k, NBU4.5. Veritas is installed on
the C:\program files, but it seems that part of the images directory
resides on f:\. I can see why this was done. We backup a Solaris 7
server and the image files are huge. My problem is that I done know how
the previous admin set it up to move the files. Is it in a script? I am
going to upgrade to 5.1 but I need to figure this out first. Is it an
option in Veritas to store the image directory in a different location?
