We have a media server (SUN Fire 480R) with a L700 (20 drives) connected
via 5 dual-port SCSI cards (each port connects two tape drives). We noticed
that during the peak backup time, a lot of tldd and tldcd daemon spawn up,
but only 3 or 4 drives are used. In the moring, everything goes back to
normal. It looks like a resource issue. We've checked tcp and /etc/system
parameters, nothing helps. Any idea? Tia.
