This can also be a problem of VSP not cleaning itself up. NBU tries to
backup a temp drive created by VSP that is not usable and is a near phantom.
Patch your Master and Media servers as soon as possible to make this problem
a past issue.

Been there, done that.
Update all your Windows clients to the latest release. I can't remember
which version fixed it, but it's sure annoying!
