Thanks for both your responses.

Eric,
I did run the mkdir.bat and it created the directories successfully. I will
check this morning for the log entries.

Ruben,
If there are errors I will attempt to create the problem report.

Thanks..

To run a full log, on the master server use <install path>
veritas\netbackup\logs then run mklogdir.bat by double clicking on the bat
file -

OK becuase some files will always be open, Do you have TIR on?
For True image Veritas will have to cache and create a TIR - Not saying
remove TIR - But possibly depending on your IDR?

To find out what files and errors that are not being backed up becuase they
are open - 1. Run all entries or all backup errors reports.
Then Checkout the files that cannot backup becuase they are open, pagefiles
don't mean jack, using VSP or OTM whatever slows down backups unless really
needed turn that off, disable VSP, VSSP and OTM - These should be used for
files that may close during backups, users on?

IF these are SQL files then notify the SQL amdins and ask the about these
open files, they probably have a backup for SQL at hand that you backup
already?

You can generate the problems report with the command

Program Files/VERITAS/NetBackup/bin/admincmd/bperror.exe -U -problems
