Michael,
please be aware that in my experience:
1) An EVA demand allocated snapshot can cause peformance problems when used
for backup if the primary disk is live
2) An EVA snapclone although immediately available - takes a significant
amount of time to become a real "split mirror" until then it is in effect a
demand allocated snapshot
Both of the above observations on EVA3000 ad NBU 5.0 on WIN 2003
