I suggest you do a complete uninstall and then do a fresh installation using
the "wizard".
It is a good starting point for first time users. Also I suggest VERITAS
training.
The product is very easy to use but it is hard to understand in the
beginning.
That is because of the wide ranging platforms/software applications that can
be serviced.

I have no idea  I am beginner in veritas backup s/w
so. ask you to help me about problem  that back up client
I did  it like  below 
I installed netbackup4.5FP6 on HP-UX and Window2000server
NetBackup server is HP-UX , and 2000server is client. 
after netbackup module for w2k is installed on window server  
for backup Client , I don't kwon  what do i do the next time 
do you  know that ? if you know ,  explain about it  
and. i inserted  hostname in /etc/hosts of server and client
