<P>You said&nbsp;you have L80 (4XHP LTO2).&nbsp;&nbsp;I assume it is 
LTO2&nbsp;tape drives.&nbsp; The tape had errors when reached 250GB.&nbsp; It 
seems to me&nbsp;that's LTO1 capacity.&nbsp; &nbsp;Ensure&nbsp;you have Ultrium 
2 media not Ultrium 1.&nbsp;&nbsp; Also, check your barcode 
label.&nbsp;&nbsp;The barcode&nbsp;label&nbsp;for&nbsp;LTO2 tape should end 
with L2.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; If you have label that ends with L1.&nbsp;&nbsp; It 
will treat the media as LTO 1.</P>
<P>Lastly, try HP media part no. C7972 Ultrium 2 data 
cartridge.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</P></DIV><BR><BR><BR>

and now I'm facing the same problem. My newly setup NBU5.0 (MP2), L80 (4xHP 
LTO2). All new tapes (Fujifilm) seem to have problem when come to end of tape 
(hit error 84 when reach 250GB on tape).
