Hi all,
I'm getting error 84 everytime the LTO2 tape reach around 250GB... No backup
can span across tape, mean no backup can write till a tape full and continue
writting to another tape. All backup are working fine if the data size in a
tape is less than 250GB.
Any idea what's the problem. My configuration are :
Solaris 9
NBU5.0 MP2
STK L80 library
3 x HP LTO 2 drives (with sso, share with another media server)
st.conf :
"HP Ultrium", "HP Ultrium", "ULTRIUM";
ULTRIUM = 1, 0x36, 0, 0xd639, 4, 0x00, 0x00, 0x00, 0x42, 3;
# This line adds support for Fibre Channel Tapes
name="st" parent="fp" target=0;
name="st" parent="lpfc" target=0 lun=0;
name="st" parent="lpfc" target=0 lun=1;
name="st" parent="lpfc" target=0 lun=2;
name="st" parent="lpfc" target=0 lun=3;
The library is connect to STK router (convert scsi to fc) and then connect to
brocade switch. The router log only state that there is disconnection (bus
reset).
Thanks.
