SUMMARY.
Here are the ports we have opened - non-SSO environment - and things now
seem to be working OK>

Traffic between these ports will be required - by default.
 <master> <media> 13782 (bpcd) tcp
 <media> <master> 13724 (vnetd) tcp
 <master> <media> 13724 (vnetd) tcp
 <media> <master> 13723 (bpjobd) tcp
 <media> <master> 13721 (bpdbm) tcp
 <media> <master> 13720 (bprd) tcp

I believe these would also be required in certain circumstances :
<media> <master> 13783 (vopied) tcp (only req. for java
authentication)
<media> <master> (callback) tcp (only req. if vnetd not being
used)
<media> <master> 13701 (vmd) tcp (only req. in SSO environment)

Also configured in the GUI :
Set master server properties (for media server)
o check Use Connect-Back (VNETD only)
o Ports : Use reserved ports
o Daemon connection port : VNETD only

Thanks for the help.

regards, Phil
