They are both DLT Libraries, and tapes that may have been in one library
last month may be in the other library this month (that is to say that I
do not separate the tapes)
My concern with using a common volume group is that the vault inventory
reports do not list all of the tapes in my cabinet. There are two
reports, one for each library, but I have one common cabinet. This
causes confusion for the guys doing the day to day management.

are you using two different types of media in your library? I assume
not.
what are the report concerns you have with using a single common volume
group?
what version of NetBackup are you using?

Hey,
I just installed a new SDLT library, and I am trying to integrate it
into my current Vault processes.
TLD0 has a vault that corresponds to my in house cabinet - the vault is
CabinetA.
Since Vaults have to be unique across all libraries, how do I get stuff
"into" CabinetA from TLD1?
I understand that I can move them into a common Volume Group - but, that
does not allow the Vault reports to work as expected.
How are other people handling this?
Dave
