[Veritas-bu] Oracle RMAN problem -- odd
2004-08-27 13:50:50
Hi Charlie
We had a similar problem with RMAN - turned out that the symlink to the shared
library was missing from Oracle's environment.
Although the shared library existed in /usr/openv/netbackup/bin/, RMAN could not
find it!
cd ${ORACLE_HOME}/lib
ls -l libobk.so
If libobk.so exists:
mv libobk.so libobk.so.orig
ln -s /usr/openv/netbackup/bin/libobk.so.1 libobk.so
Hope that helps?
Mike
