The L2 part is identifying the tapes as LTO2, and is not shown to netbackup when
you do an inventory.

I don't know if you can configure the library to send this also, check your
docs.

I'm not sure if you can configure barcode rules to ADD the L2 on the end, but
this may also be possible!
