You could set up two different policies with user directed backups, one
for windows and one for linux and just schedule it through at or cron
=66rom the client.
You could also do the same kind of thing from the master server by
setting up the two policies with no windows defined and cron a script to
check which os is currently running by using bpgetconfig:
bpgetconfig -s clientname
and then call the policy that goes with the current os.
