We did.  It was a joke.

Just start up a new installation and go.  You can't bring over any
data/tapes or anything with you.  You need to keep the old Legato
setup intact for restores of legacy data.

But why are you switching?  I've used both now and I really prefer
Legato.  It's more flexible, gives better feedback on what's happening
with current backups, and just worked better for me.  I really dislike
NetBackup and how hard it is to get useful information out of it.  

And with the problems we're having restoring NDMP backups from our
NetApps this week, I'm even more upset with Veritas.
