I think its because it appears itself as a mounted device, that if your
filelist says 'ALL_LOCAL_DRIVES' it starts a backup for this first, then
applys the exclude list, realises the only file in the backup is excluded,
so completes with zero files ).
I dont know if you can avoid without specifying the list of
device/filesystems to back up and exclude /etc/mnttab from that.
BTW, there is a performance bug in 5.0GA when you have excludes with '*'
in - it takes a long time to backup, answer is run 5.1 (client as well as
sever).
