I had the same problem running the same versions.  I had to split my
Exchange mailboxes into several streams.
NEW_STREAM
Microsoft Exchange Mailboxes:\[a-h]*
NEW_STREAM
Microsoft Exchange Mailboxes:\[i-q]*
NEW_STREAM
Microsoft Exchange Mailboxes:\[r-z]*

They all finished fine after this change.  We have about 300 mailboxes on
our Exchange server.

I have already looked into the messages on this site.

I am getting the error 41 on Exchange mailbox backup (W2K)  which was
working fine one week before. It is backing up
almost entire mailbox and finally coming out with the above error .but my
netbackup perfectly backing up EXCHDB (database) successfully on the same
Exchange machine but it fails only for EXCHMBX policy.

Our master server in on Windows 2000 Netbackup 4.5 GA MP5 on SSO
environment.

I have tried the following

1) client read timeout / client connect timeout 
2) CPU Utilization on client
