You probably have a restriction on the master server in your firewall. I had
the same error message but in my case, I was using a vpn and going through a
firewall. One solution is to get full access or you will have to configure
at least 120 ports in your firewall, then input that info in your
NBJAVA-CLIENT_PORT_WINDOW on your master and your c:\programs files
\veritas\java\ veritas netbackup - java file.
