[Veritas-bu] 5.0Mp1 or 4.5 FP6

Having run both I think 5.0MP1 is the way to go.  The base install of 5.0 is
a little buggy but no more so than 4.5FP6.  MP1 for 5.0 appears to fix a lot
and with MP2 just released I really think that's the way to go.  In fact,
after installing FP6 the problems were so bad we had to roll back to FP5.
You know, things like not being able to complete a restore, nothing all that
important :-).

I have a new project and need to install netbackup. I was a bit loathed to
put 5.0 on as had heard there were various things still buggy with it.

 

Question is do I install 4.5 FP6 or 5.0 MP1 ?? This will be on Solaris 8
connected to an L25 with LTO2 drives. 

 

Advice would be appreciated
