Hey gang.

1) I just had a hairy Groupwise recovery last week; didn't know about
the 'restore GW backup to alternate path and then move it back to where
it goes' part. That took a while to figure out. My Netware guy wants to
know if doing a Groupwise specific backup (using the Groupwise target
and the GWTSA) is any different than just backing up the whole volume
(it would have made recovery a whole bunch easier).

What I noticed is that the Groupwise-specific backup did a nice job of
segregating the Post Office and whatnot, but since we only have one post
office, it wasn't a huge deal. Can I just back up the whole volume
instead?

2) I'm having a problem with 174 errors. I have a DLT 8000 drive and a
DLT 4 jukebox all in one 'storage unit group'. What I can deduce is that
a backup with multiple streams will grab a tape (say MM1234) and start
making backups. Another stream will try to use the same tape, but it
will think it's in the other robot and 174 (as it can't get the other
robot to control the tape). Has anyone else had a similar problem? I'm
on 4.5MP6 on HP-UX 11.0.

TIA,

-dd
