I am really trying to accomplish an understanding of how the wildcards
behave.
My testing has not provided that answer yet.

Are you saying that you do not use wildcards because they do not behave
well/properly?

What are you trying to accomplish.

I have steered away from wildcards for this specific reason.

I have classes like this

/home/brs/
/home/seg

etc....

I am quite net to NBU and I am having a problem using wildcards.

I have been experimenting by running back ups on the server's home
directory.

I have been running file lists like:

/home
/home*
/home/
/home/*
/home/*/*
....etc.......

I am not seeing consistent results.  Sometimes files are getting backed up;
others not.

I cannot find a "smoking gun" answer in the documentation.

If anyone could shed some light on how the wildcards are supposed to behave,
I would appreciate it.
