Hello Veritas Specialists
Currently, I'm having a problem with a library - a four SDLT drive L100
and
two bridge FC-420, those bridges are connected to two Brocade switches. I'm
using NetBackup 3.4.1 (patch 6) software at SAN.
When I run the robtest command, I get the following output:
Opening \\.\Scsi6:
Enter tld commands (? returns help information)
s d
drive 1 (addr 128) access = 1 Contains Cartridge = yes
Source address = 200 (slot 9)
Barcode = 000804S
SCSI ID from drive 1 is 1
drive 2 (addr 129) access = 1 Contains Cartridge = yes
Source address = 199 (slot 8)
Barcode = 000802S
SCSI ID from drive 2 is 2
drive 3 (addr 130) access = 1 Contains Cartridge = yes
Source address = 219 (slot 28)
Barcode = 000828S
SCSI ID from drive 3 is 4
drive 4 (addr 131) access = 0 Contains Cartridge = no
Sense code = 0x83, Code qualifier = 0x4
drive 5 (addr 132) access = 1 Contains Cartridge = yes
Source address = 241 (slot 50)
Barcode = 000810S
SCSI ID from drive 5 is 6
READ_ELEMENT_STATUS complete
The problem is the fourth drive (number 4), because the SCSI message appear:
Sense code = 0x83, Code qualifier = 0x4.
So, I have FOUR drives, but the robtest command reads FIVE drives, returning
the SCSI error for drive 4.
Does anybody know what could be happenning?
Thanks,
Anderson Leandrine
