May also want to look into the new STK StreamLine 8500. It is very scaleable
(1,500 - 200k slots) and has a very tight footprint. I also believe that the
control software is onboard the library...

We are currently looking to add a tape library to our Veritas Netbackup
environment and would like some opinions on the 3 that we are currently
choosing between.
All would be LTO2 drives in a SAN environment.

1. HP Akula
2. Storage Tek L700 - L700E
3. ADIC Scalar i2K

Any and all comments on these libraries would be appreciated. ( i.e. Works
great or Hate one because of problems, lack of vendor support etc. )

Thank you,
