It's this way on prior versions as well.

It mentions this in the notes for bpexpdate as what will happen when you=20
manually expire one of the copies of an image, but not all of them.

I currently duplicate copies using the multiple copy function. When the=20
primary copy expires does the application automatically promote the=20
secondary to the primary for restores?  I am using Netbackup 4.5=20
Datacenter for Windows.
