i have never done scripts on netbackup before. can you send me your script
as a sample ?

Auto retry is for specific job id only.
Your requirement is just opposite than mine !. We backup exchange using
streams and we have 4 streams. We always want to resubmit the failed streams
only, but resubmitting the class/client will run on all 4 streams again.
What we do is, we run a wrapper script to extract bpdbjobs output, identify
failed jobs, resubmit using command line (All in a same script). Then due to
above stated issue, we manually kill the streams that ran successful.
So the suggestion would be, you may wish to write some script.
