This is the type of error message I am getting when we try to use the Oracl=
e open client for Netbackup to kickoff and RMAN Oracle database backup.
I checked the Oracle environment variables. They seem good.
I checked the links for the libobk.so. They seem good.
Allocate channel is set to d1 and we changed the script device type to SBT_=
TAPE to try to get RMAN to write to a Netbackup tape. Is SBT_TAPE the corr=
ect device type designation for our Veritas Netbackup environment?
When we manually kick of the scripts from the Oracle server to run the RMAN=
database backup to disk, it works fine. But when we try to have Netbackup=
kick off the script and write the RMAN database backup to tape, we get the=
following error message.
Can anyone provide any other troubleshooting tips we could try?
