[Veritas-bu] Questions related to "MUST_USE_LOCAL_DRIVE"

If you use the "MUST_USE_LOCAL_DRIVE" entry, and if the client is a media
server, then this is supposed to force the backup to a local drive.
Fine. But, what happens if the backup policy specifies a storage unit that
is not on defined on that media server? In the case of a direct conflict
like this, which wins, the bp.conf entry or the policy entry?
-M
MUST_USE_LOCAL_DRIVE
If the client is a server and this entry is present, backups for this client
must occur on a
local drive. If a client is not a server, this entry has no effect.
Use this option by adding it to the /usr/openv/netbackup/bp.conf file on
NetBackup servers or check the Must Use Local Drive setting in the General
Server host
properties dialog. (See "Must Use Local Drive" on page 254.)
