As I understand it, MP's contain only bug fixes, FP's contain new
functionality.
You can go down either the Feature Pack or the Maintenance Pack route, but
not mix and match.
But Veritas no longer recommend the 4.5 DC GA, recommending you use 4.5 FP3
as a minimum base.
(It may be that you can add maintenance packs to feature packs, I'm not sure
... I believe FP4 & FP5 only contain but fixes to FP3, not additional
functionaility).
I have a 4.5 MP5 install & am about to back out the MP's & install FP3, then
upgrade that to FP4...

Simple questions: What is FP3 [Feature Pack?] and is it of a higher revision
than GA with MP5? What are the Vertias standards for software releases ETC.
