However, Veritas recommends using the latest patch rev for the clients, and
never using a HIGHER rev on the clients than the servers, so the procedure
looks like:

patch master then media servers to latest 3.4 release
patch clients to latest 3.4 release
upgrade master/media to 4.5
upgrade clients at your leisure

It is perfectly possible to run 3.4 clients while the servers are
running NBU 4.5. We're doing that now and has less problems compared
to a 3.4 server ...  :-)
