The word that we have gotten from Veritas is that SSO is not supported
with Win2K3 due to Emulex HBA drivers and supposedly an MS hotfix that
is holding up certification. It may work but is not totally supported.
As customers we need to push them....

I wish I could give you a better answer than this, but "Yes, it works
for us." We've got 6 servers sharing a 2-drive library on the SAN, with
two of the servers being Windows 2003. Besides some Emulex driver
issues with the HBA, once we got them seeing the tape drives, everything
has worked fine.

We're MP5, not FP, though.

Has anybody been able to successfully create a production Windows 2003
Media Server that utilizes SSO? We are running Netbackup 4.5 FP3,
master, all media servers and tape drives are connected to a SAN. I have
tried every network card and driver imaginable. The 2003 media server
grabs the tape drives, we get a lot of resource busy errors which causes
jobs to bomb off.

Thanks
