Thanks for the information. I had an idea that you might be declaring a
stream for every letter. I've applied this to our system, and it's
scheduled to run Sunday morning. I'll let you know what I find. Right
now our mailbox backup takes almost 8 hours. One stream, over gigabit.
The total bytecount for the mailbox backup is about 48GB.
