What happens if you only have 2 tapes in the loader when you run the job?
Does it run or error out?

What kind of data are you backing up? If the files are already compressed
or just not very compressible (databases, zip files...), you might not get
very good compression on the tape and fill them up earlier than you expect.
If you do a media list report, does it show a FULL status on the tape? If
they're filling up, make sure that you only use Hardware OR Software
compression - if you use both, you will probably use up more tape too.

What kind of tape drive and throughput are you getting on the job?

Andrew
