Check the DBBACKUP_CALLED text file in
%INSTALL_DIR%\veritas\netbackup\bin

This usually gives you "some" good information to start with.

Catalog is set to kick off after all scheduled jobs are completed.
Maybe someone can enlighten me and tell me why this didn't happen today.
