Folks,
I hope you can help me out here -- I'm trying to write
some scripts that give a crude view of overall througput just
of the weekend (full) backups.
The problem I'm having is deciding which source is
authoritative for the amount of data backed up. I've tried
"bperror" and "bpimagelist" and cannot get the output of these
to agree. Nor do either of them agree with a "df -k" listing!
At the end of the message is an excerpt from the
output of the above commands showing that there is "disagreement"
(apparently!) on how much data was written.
Have any of you been down this road and figured out
what's what, please?
Thanks!
Richard.
