Vault is useful for duplicating these afterward but you can write it
yourself if you want to, centered around the "bpduplicate" command.
Disks don't compress. That's the biggest thing I learned. Tapes do. If
you turn on client-side compression to compensate, then your client load
soars and the compression isn't that good.
Other than that, availability is higher, speeds can be greater. Restores
are nice and fast.
