Hi all,

I was wondering, if you have a Solaris master server(3.4.1 patch 5),
attached to a NetApp filer sharing the same library..
is it possible to have the following file list in the NDMP policy

/vol/vol0/.snapshot/nightly.0/dir1
/vol/vol0/.snapshot/nightly.0/dir2
/vol/vol0/.snapshot/nightly.0/dir3
/vol/vol0/.snapshot/nightly.0/dir4

I have a problem restoring these directories.. there is a reason why the
file list is this way.. mainly 'coz the directories
need to be synchronized and snapshot is done manually..
anyways, when i did a restore for all 4 directories (directory walk and
clicking these directories from the restore gui),
it fails with the following error mesg at the end

################
18:39:41 (76.001) Status of restore from image created Sun Jul 27 02:04:45
2003 = child process killed by signal

18:39:44 (76.xxx) INF - Status = the restore failed to recover the requested
files.
################

I noticed that the target directory does not create dir1 nor dir2, instead,
it recovers the content of dir1 to the target directory
instead. Is the restore suppose to happen this way?
