Howdy Mark,
=20
I tried using that initially, but it does not delete anything that was
added.
ie....The developer installed rpm packages on his linux box (php4)
(mysql) and a new apache version. Problem is that the code the website
was written in (php3) crashed and burned when running with php4.
=20
So, the developer wants to go back in time and have the unit the same
as it was a week ago. Using the -s & -e flag will only restore the files
the way they were, but if he added a rpm of php4, it will still be
there.
At least that's what the developer is seeing when I used -s & -e.
=20
Anyway around this. I didn't see a way to tell bprestore to remove any
files that are new or did I miss it?
=20
Cheers and Thanks...James

Yup. The bprestore command has "-s" & "-e" flags for a start & end date
range.

Subject: [Veritas-bu] Image Restore
Howdy,
=20
I've done restores using both the gui and the command
line, but I have a system that needs to be a certain image
on a certain date.
=20
A developer was working with a production apache, mysql,
& php linux box and it does not work. He want to restore
the image of the box on a specific date.
=20
Can this be done on the command line?
=20
Thanks...James
