Sounds like the forward space file operation after checking the tape label
is failing.... Truncated tape image set?
I have seen similiar failures in different situations.... busted NAS software
and mixing DLT7000 label tapes on DLT8000 tape drives....
I would ask NetBackup to dump the tape's images and see what it reports....
What is the command -- bpimagelist?
