Man ... has this issue been a thorn in our side for the past several mont=
hs. Yes the command David mentioned will give you what you want but let m=
e tell you our sad tale of woe. The output from that command is very busy=
=2E It's suitable for techies to parse through and figure it out but try =
sending it to other non-techie type folks and stand-by for the backlash. =
In our case the area wanting the data only wanted to see the file name in=
question (not all the other stuff wrapped around it) and oh by the way, =
he only wants to see servers that pertain to his area, not all the server=
s in the list. Add to that the fact that we're not really script literate=
yet, we were expending a lot of manual effort to create this report. We =
have since gone out and looked at 3rd pa
rty reporting products to enhance the NBU environment (sorry, not Advance=
d Reporter) and have since acquired said product. We now have (or soon wi=
ll have) automated capabilities to do what it is you're asking for plus a=
myriad of other things. I'm a firm believer in letting the iron brain do=
everything we can get it to do and with diminished staff, I don't want m=
y folks to have to be in script/program maintenance mode every time Verit=
as decides they might want to change the format in which the data is pres=

Good luck in your effort. I hope your users will be with the data, as is,=
without the added manual manipulation.

Subject: [Veritas-bu] Status 1 Notifications (How to send customer more
info on what file was skipped) NBU Datacenter 4.5
Hey guys and gals !=20
I'm back on the forum, after a e-mail address change, and a successful
4.5 upgrade and the patches of course :)
My question is this: Our customers would like a list of what files were
skipped when we get a Status 1.
Is there a way to build that into the notification script ? Has anyone
already done this ?
Thanks in advance !
