The full version of Vault under 4.5 doesn't give a lot more information,
but it does at least show the jobs in the activity monitor. What we get
is one job that is the main vault job, and for each process it kicks
off, another job showing what backups are being duped.
I.e., my main vault job shows as active, and shows the robot being
used, what kind of job (Full, Incremental, Cum), and has an avtive
status. The duplication job that is started by the vault job shows the
backup list that the process is duping. These are separated the same way
3.4 does, by the media id that is being used for the source. Under the
detailed status you get the tapes that are being used, mount info, etc.
All the same info you get for a regular backup. What you can't tell is
where in the list it is.
It is useful for being able to tell when you have a vault job running,
but not a whole lot else.

Can somebody out there running BPVault or other bpduplicate scripts
under
NBU 4.5 please help me out? :)
( I am stuck with 3.4 at the moment... )

What data does NBU include in the job monitor when the bpduplicate
command
is run? In 3.4, this activity is invisible
in the job monitor, but I understand that 4.5 reports on this. Does
anyone
have any examples of the records this produces?

bpdbjobs -report -all_columns output would be fantastic.

Best regards,

        Peter Buschman
