Just kill job tracker completely. It adds a *lot* of overhead to your
backups anyway, especially if you have a lot of files.

Subject: [Veritas-bu] job tracker

Hi

Running 4.5 mp2 on a SAN with clustered backup server and 2 sets of
clustered SAN media servers.

I have noticed that the job tracker running in the task manager on a the
SAN media server machines shows 3 active jobs even when the activity monitor
on the master server has non active. This then results in next days backups
on adding onto the 3 active jobs taking it to four but showing as an active
job on the master server and stays that way until cancelled.... any advice
on this would be welcomed

Kind Regards,

Imran Khan
