I discovered why the inc-diff backups actually run a full backup on
my solaris server. I nailed the problem down to this:

104: Connection reset by peer
00:48:42.005 [13089] <16> bpbkar: ERR - read server exit status = 6: the backup 
failed to back up the requested files

        Seems that the server closes down the connection BEFORE the client
can write tir_info file. Thus no file is created and the temp tir_info file
is unlinked.

        Server is 4.5MP4, the client is also MP4. Help anyone?
